Diagnostics and Treatment
Effective care begins with accurate diagnoses. If your cat is sick, our goal is to make a diagnosis and treat the condition appropriately. Physical exam, blood and urine tests and x-rays, performed onsite, are the primary tools for making a diagnosis.
When appropriate we consult board certified veterinary surgeons, internists, opthomologists and dermatologists.
Depending on the severity of the disease, treatment may consist of medicine prescribed to be given to your cat at home, or may require hospitalization. Oxygen therapy, IV fluid therapy, nutritional support or injectable medicines are some of the treatments requiring inpatient care.
Our hospital environment is designed for compassionate cat care. Heated cages in a quite dog-free environment offer your cat the optimal conditions for recovery.
