Our in-house laboratory allows us to process blood, fecal, and urine samples instead of having to send them to an outside facility. We can monitor your pet’s baseline values, assess organ function, check for parasites, and more by performing these tests. Our digital radiology (x-ray) equipment lets us peer deep inside your cat’s body to view their bones, tendons, and organs. In cats, x-ray technology is even used to confirm pregnancies and count the number of kittens. Modern digital radiology provides instant results and exposes patients to very little radiation. It’s safe, fast, and an incredibly powerful diagnostic tool.
We also offer Diagnostic ultrasound, which is an imaging method that uses sound waves to produce images of structures within the body. It provides a better view of internal organs such as the liver, spleen, kidneys, and lymph nodes. It can identify and locate tumors, cysts, stones and more. Ultrasound is also used during pregnancy to visualize fetal heartbeats and ensure proper development. Ultrasound imaging is safe, non-invasive, and painless, and does not require your pet to be sedated. Using state-of-the-art equipment, ultrasounds are performed by our experienced veterinarians. And since images show up instantly on the screen, clients can get immediate feedback.
